Factual Monday- Movie Edition

I have to alter my posts this week a bit. Due to travel later in the week I am doing my Friday post today, Monday. I also had a pretty shity weekend and movies make me happy. This was a really fun list to put together. Enjoy!

1) Eric Stoltz was origianlly cast as Marty McFly in Back To The Future

2) A lion was killed on the set of Tarzan Of The Apes (1918) when an old and drugged lion "turned" on the lead

3) All of the drawings in the movie Titanic were actually done by James Cameron, the movie's director

4) George Clooney auditioned 5 times for the part of JD in Thelma and Louise. The part went to Brad Pitt

5) Meg Ryan turned down the role of Shelby in Steel Magnolias

6) For her role in All About Eve, Bette Davis took only 16 days to film all of her scenes

7) Bill Murray was bitten 2 times by a groundhog on the set of Groundhog Day

8) Uma Thurman based her dancing style in the Jack Rabbit Slim's scene in Pulp Fiction on the character Dutchess from The Aristocats

9) Despite being a horror/thriller film, there are no murders or fatalities depicted in Poltergueist

10) In the film The Graduate, Mrs. Robinson is supposed to be much older than Benjamin but in real life there was only a 5 year age difference between Anne Bankroft and Dustin Hoffman
